    CNTY Representative Joins EU's “Climate Change: What Science Tells Us” Conference

    On March 5, 2025, the European Union's conference "Climate Change: What Science Tells Us" was held in Beijing, with CNTY's representative invited to the event. The event featured discussions led by distinguished participants including His Excellency Jorge Toledo, the EU Ambassador to China, Prof. Robert Vautard, senior climate scientist at IPSL in Paris, and Prof. Zhang Xiaoye, Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering and Director of Monitoring & Assessment Center for GHSs & Carbon Neutrality at China Meteorological Administration.

    The conference highlighted key outcomes from the 62nd Plenary Session of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) hosted in Hangzhou between February 24 to 28, 2025. Participants examined current challenges in climate change and unresolved climate issues. Discussions also focused on actionable strategies for all parties to advance climate goals, particularly in light of the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement.
