Vice Chairman of the CPPCC and Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Bijie Visits China Tianying

On August 5, Chairman Yan Shengjun welcomed the delegation of Hu Hai, Vice Chairman of the CPPCC and Director of the Development and Reform Commission of Bijie, Guizhou Province at CNTY’s headquarters in Hai’an. The two sides had a friendly exchange on the cooperation prospects between CNTY and Bijie in the fields of gravity energy storage and photovoltaic power generation.

Chairman Yan introduced the new energy industry ecology being built by CNTY, and illustrated on the growth of new energy business such as gravity energy storage, large-scale ground solar farms and wind parks. He said that Bijie is rich in wind and solar resources and has a huge development potential in gravity energy storage and wind and solar projects. CNTY hopes to introduce its world-leading gravity energy storage technology and new energy development resources to Bijie’s social and economic development.

Hu Hai pointed out that Bijie has great interest and confidence in CNTY's gravity energy storage technology. Given that CNTY had already sent a technical team to Bijie for site visit, he suggested that both sides carry out further discussions on project implementation.

Also present at the talks were Yan Kaiquan, Chairman of China Construction Seventh Engineering Division (Shanghai) CO., Ltd, Yuan Xuan, Director of the Market Development Department of China Three Gorges Mechanical and Electrical Engineering Co., Ltd, Hu Ankun, Deputy Director of the Bijie Energy Bureau, Cai Jianjun, Director of China Power Network Assets of Singapore Power Group; and Zhang Jie, Vice President and Secretary General of the Energy Investment Professional Committee of the Investment Association of China, as well as Li Jun, Vice President of CNTY, Tu Haihong, Vice President and Finance Director of CNTY, and Li Guoxin, Marketing Director of CNTY.

After the meeting, Hu Hai and the delegation went to Rudong to visit the construction site of the first 100MWh gravity energy storage project introduced and implemented by CNTY.
